Georgia adults age 19 or older without a high school diploma can earn a General Educational Development. GED is a series of tests that measure knowledge typically acquired during high school. Successful completion of the exam in the state of Georgia results in the award of the Georgia General Educational Development Diploma.
Faks Allied Health Education center prepares adults without high school diploma to take the GED exam. The GED exam comprises of five subjects: Science, Mathematics, Language arts: writing, Language arts: reading and Social sciences.
If you didn't finish high school, the GED diploma will be important for career advancement and postsecondary study. Most colleges and universities accept the GED credential as an alternative to a high school diploma.
