I will have to say attending Faks Allied Health Education Center has to be one of the best moves I could have ever chosen to take. This school's approach to learning is extremely of the essence. This school does not just seek to train us to give us jobs, this school also gives us life skills that we can apply to our everyday lives to become better people. I enjoyed attending this school because, unlike the other schools I researched, this school has a family feel and is a family owned business. Every employee works hard to make sure you are okay and you are treated just as if you are family.
I especially appreciated the owner Mr. Kargbo who went the extra mile to make sure that we were on the right track. He always taught us that no one is going to give you what you need in life; you have to take your future into your own hands. The teaching staff was great. My class did very well on the Certified Nursing Assistant certification testing, and my favorite part of attending school at FAKS was the fact that our certification test was conducted at FAKS. This eliminated a lot of nervousness on the actual day of testing.
In the end I was able to find a great job through the schools job leads, and I look forward to starting nursing school in January of 2012.
I would recommend this school for any student determined to succeed in the future.

My experience with Faks Allied Health Education Center has been an adventure, one I will never forget. It's been a long journey, but my classmates and I have made it through. It's been a life changing experience with education and defining our strength in areas in which we could not believe; attending Faks has taught me patience and understanding of individuals struggling with personal behavior. I am glad I attended Faks, I did meet diverse people and challenging situations that I learned to triumph through. The director, Mr. Dewayne Crowder has been very supportive and professional throughout my experience at FAKS.

Program: PCT/CNA
When I first came to this school, I really did not know what to think. First the CNA program is very short, only 4 weeks. I thought to myself, "How am I going to get through this?" I ended up having an exceptional teacher and she taught very well. My class's percentage of passage on the examination exam was phenomenal.
The second part, PCT, my instructor was an excellent teacher. She went the extra mile to explain things, and she was always available to assist us. I had a very good experience coming to this school, and I will always recommend this school to others. The staff is always polite, and helpful.

My experience with Faks Allied Health Education Center has been unbelievable. At first, I thought it was going to go straight and narrow, but I've come to find that even with education, things are subject to change. Throughout the process I had to really apply myself which taught me to appreciate my strengths. However, I cannot and will not forget my experience with Faks Allied Health Education Center. The staff there made a lasting impact/ impression on me, one being Mr. Dewayne Crowder who has always been there keeping it real, smiling, and sharing his knowledge. Thank you very much.
